As we welcome a new year, I am filled with gratitude and optimism for the extraordinary community that is Army West Point Athletics. It remains a profound honor and privilege to serve as the 31st Director of Athletics in United States Military Academy history, and I am proud to work alongside teammates who are deeply committed to our shared mission of developing leaders of character rooted in the Army values.
The start of a new calendar year provides an opportunity to reflect on the remarkable momentum we continue to build together. The 2024–25 year will be remembered for historic achievements that elevated Army West Point Athletics on the national stage, including winning the Army-Navy Star Series and the Patriot League President’s Cup, the continued progress of the Michie Stadium Preservation Project, and an unprecedented $18 million raised through the Army A Club in support of our cadet-athletes. These accomplishments - along with countless competitive and academic successes across all programs - made for a truly unforgettable year on and off the “fields of friendly strife.”
None of this progress happens without the dedication and generosity of so many. As we look ahead, it is important to pause and thank our cadet-athletes, coaches, staff, alumni, donors, and supporters whose commitment makes Army West Point Athletics exceptional. Your belief in our mission and investment in our people continue to shape the future of this department.
While the landscape of college athletics continues to evolve, our purpose remains unwavering: to recruit, educate, train, and inspire leaders of character through an extraordinary Division I athletic experience in service to the Nation.
I am excited for what lies ahead in 2026 and beyond - watching our cadet-athletes compete with pride, celebrating continued success in competition and in the classroom, and preparing for the completion of the Michie Stadium Preservation Project ahead of the 2026 football season. All of this progress is made possible by the loyalty and generosity of our Army A Club members.
As you consider your charitable priorities in the year ahead, I hope you will continue to support the young men and women by joining, renewing, or increasing your membership in the Army A Club.
Thank you for being part of this remarkable team.
Go Army! BEAT everybody!
